Q9: If I take my test in an automatic car, can I then drive a manual car at a later date?

If you pass your test in an automatic car, then that’s the only sort of car you’re then qualified to drive.  If you decide later on that you wish to drive a manual car, you would need to retake your test in a manual car.
 
Learning to drive an automatic car is a much simpler process than driving a manual car as it allows you to give more of your attention to what is happening on the road, rather than worrying about the gears and finding the bite point!
