Lessons for Provisional Licence Holders

If you are a Provisional Licence holder, I offer lessons in my automatic Mini Cooper. I can offer lessons in your own manual car (unfortunately not applicable for complete novices).
 
Whether you are a complete beginner or someone looking to brush up on existing skills, I can help you pass your Practical Driving test and ensure that you start your driving future a fully prepared and safe driver.
 
I am committed to providing a professional service, using up-to-date teaching methods and will tailor your learning to suit you. I guarantee that all tuition will be on a 'one-to-one' basis with no other pupil ever in the car.

We will go through a properly structured course of tuition, ensuring that you have mastered a subject before moving onto another.  We will not move through the course faster than a rate you feel comfortable with.  I will supply you with Revision Handouts after each new subject covered.
 
Main subjects areas are:-

• Car controls
• Moving off and stopping on the left
• Dealing with junctions, roundabouts & crossroads
• Emergency stop
• Reversing around a corner
• Reverse parking (parallel park & bay parking)
• Dealing with pedestrian crossings
• Driving on dual carriageways at speeds of up to 70 mph
• Hazard awareness, forward planning and anticipation of other road users

 
Finally, please don't worry about being nervous — that's perfectly natural and something that will go in time as your confidence grows
